Howden Joinery Group Plc (the "Company") announces that on 8 March 2016 it purchased through UBS Limited the following number of its ordinary shares at an average price of 458.14p per share:

Lowest purchase price paid per share:

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above transaction, the Company holds 11,352,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 640,478,815 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
