Indian print media cos jump after govt hikes ad rates

** Shares of Indian print media companies surge with Nifty
Media index  .NIFTYMED  rising as much as one pct
    ** The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting raises the

 in a statement on Tuesday 
    ** New rates are effective from Tuesday and valid for three
years
    ** Shares of HT Media Ltd  HTML.NS  jump as much as 17.5 pct
to 45.95 rupees in its biggest daily pct gain since Oct. 10
    ** Jagran Prakashan Ltd's  JAGP.NS  stock rises as much as
8.3 pct to 124.9 rupees, its biggest intraday pct gain since
Aug. 1
    ** DB Corp Ltd's  DBCL.NS  counter gains as much as 8 pct to
183 rupees, its biggest daily pct gain in over three weeks
