Australia's Hub24 climbs on first-half profit jump

** Shares of Hub24 Ltd  HUB.AX  rise as much as 9.4% to
A$25.740
    ** Stock to mark best session since Oct 2021 if gains hold 
    ** Investment management co's first-half underlying net
profit after tax rose 103% to A$14.2 mln ($10.19 mln), 56% above

    ** First-half income rose 66% to A$81.6 mln, co declared an
interim dividend of 7.5 Australian cents per share
    ** Citi says it expects the share price to react positively
to stronger-than-expected revenue margins and operating leverage
    ** Stock up for a second straight session 
    ** HUB down 16.8% this year, as of last close
