The Dow and the S&P 500 rebounded on Thursday, boosted by financial shares and
Boeing in a week so far marked by wild swings on rising angst about the spread
of the new Omicron coronavirus variant globally.  .N 
    At 12:55 pm ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 1.90% at
34,670.02. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 1.56% at 4,583.37 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.83% at 15,381.218.
