** HBAN's net interest income fell short of Wall Street expectations in Q2, overshadowing profit beat 
** "With net interest income missing in the quarter, and at the low end or slightly below the full-year guide, clearly there is investor concern and this has the stock down," Truist analyst Brian Foran said
** "Overall a mixed quarter given NII shortfall and deposit cost pressure, despite an impressive fee beat," Evercore analyst John Pancari said
** Up to last close, HBAN stock up 5.3% YTD
