June 4 (Reuters) - The Dow scaled an all-time high and the S&P 500 rose on Thursday, lifted by UnitedHealth and financials shares, while Broadcom's results fell short of high investor expectations, dragging down chip stocks and the Nasdaq. .N
     
At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.60% at 51,497.51. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.43% at 7,585.83, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.04% at 26,863.25.
