HK's Hutchmed rises on progress of Orpathys Plus Tagrisso for cancer treatment

** Shares of Hutchmed (China) 0013.HK, a cancer and immunological diseases therapies developer, jump 8.9% to HK$20.9, their biggest intraday pct gain since September 12, 2025 
** Stock hits its highest level since May 11 and is on course to snap a four-session losing streak, if gains hold 
** Stock is the top pct gainer in Hang Seng Biotech Index .HSBIO, which slips 0.5%
** Hutchmed says Orpathys Plus Tagrisso demonstrated statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in both progression-free and overall survival in a Phase III trial involving patients with EGFR-mutated lung cancer
** Safety profile for Orpathys Plus Tagrisso was consistent with the known profiles of each medicine 
** Orpathys was jointly developed by AstraZeneca and Hutchmed and commercialized by AstraZeneca
** YTD, stock down 0.2%, benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI down 0.7%
