Wall Street's main indexes advanced on Wednesday, aided by gains in megacap
stocks and a dovish turn by Japan's top policymaker after a surprise interest
rate hike last week that partly sparked heavy volatility in global markets.  .N 
    
    At 14:35 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.52% at
38,793.6. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.53% at 5,212.5 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.77% at 16,240.061.
