** Berenberg sees an opportunity in the small- and mid-cap
segments which have not re-rated as much as large caps in 2019 
    ** Diving into 2020, the broker expects mid-cap indices to
regain some lost ground as risk appetite improves 
    ** Says its top picks for the "roaring '20s" includes Dutch
marine engineer Boskalis  BOSN.AS , Italy's loan recovery
specialist doValue  DOVA.MI  and two French companies - oil
storage and distribution company Rubis  RUBF.PA  and IT
specialist Solutions 30  ALS30.PA  
    ** Names ski resort and theme park operator Compagnie des
Alpes  CDAF.PA , wine-barrel producer TFF  TFF.PA , and
animation company Xilam  XIL.PA  "hidden gems" with "excellent"
long-term outlook and exciting short-term momentum 
    ** The broker ups rating on Sipef  SIFB.BR , a Belgian
agribusiness group, to "buy" saying its long-term prospects are
solid as demand for sustainable palm oil increases    
    ** In the same note, Berenberg revises downwards its ratings
on French boiler company Boostheat  BOOST.PA , laundry services
provider Elis  ELIS.PA  and logistics specialist ID Logistics
 IDLA.PA  and now has a "hold" recommendation on the shares
