Investment Managers Ltd  ILFS.NS  rise between 4.8 pct and 9.3

    ** IL&FS group said on Monday it initiated steps for

    ** The beleaguered group, which is under severe cash crunch,
has defaulted on multiple debt payments
    ** ILFS' stock posts biggest intra-day pct gain since Oct.

    ** More than 925,777 ILFT shares traded vs 30-day moving avg
of 386,550 shares
    ** ILFT stock down 86.8 pct this year as of last close
