Exclusive Supply Agreement Signed with Leading Global Provider of X-ray
Inspection Solutions 
 
Image Scan, the AIM-listed specialist supplier of x-ray screening systems to
the security and industrial inspection markets, is pleased to announce that it
has signed an exclusive supply agreement with a leading global provider of
x-ray inspection solutions based in the US. Under the terms of the Agreement,
Image Scan will be supplied with a specially designed, portable x-ray
generator, which is a significant component in the Company's FlatScan product
range which is offered to bomb disposal and counter-terrorism customers
throughout the world. The Agreement provides Image Scan with exclusive rights
to market the product in the security sector. 
 
The new generator has been designed and manufactured to the specific
requirements of the portable market where Image Scan has established a strong
market presence. The engineering teams from both companies have worked in
close collaboration to create a more robust, smaller and lighter product, with
a better form factor. 
 
Commenting on the Agreement, Bill Mawer, Chairman and CEO of Image Scan said:

such a well-respected manufacturer in the x-ray field. The new generator has
been designed using their considerable x-ray expertise and Image Scan's

improvements in performance and reliability over the unit it replaces.

markets, including those in North America, which are key for our future
growth.  We plan further product launches in this area including new x-ray
detector panels and enhanced software."
