Immix Biopharma rises as unit announces positive results for cell therapy

** Shares of drug developer Immix Biopharma Inc  IMMX.O 
rise 12.1% to $2.06
    ** Co's unit Nexcella Inc announces positive data from its
ongoing early-stage study of its cell therapy NXC-201 for the
treatment of patients with certain diseases including cancers
    ** NXC-201 achieved 92% overall response rate in multiple
myeloma patients and 100% overall response rate in eight
patients with AL amyloidosis
    ** Nexcella plans to submit application for FDA approval in
multiple myeloma, a cancer that forms in plasma cells, once 100
patients are treated with NXC-201
    ** Also plans to submit application for FDA approval in AL
amyloidosis, a rare disease closely related to multiple myeloma,
resulting from an abnormality of plasma cells in the bone
marrow, once 30-40 patients are treated with NXC-201
    ** Stock down ~7% YTD
