    UKRAINE/RUSSIA:
    European Union member states agreed on a fourth package of
sanctions against Russia, the office of the French EU presidency

    FRENCH ECONOMY:
    President Emmanual Macron said his government would soon
present a support plan for the professions most affected by the
consequences of the war in Ukraine.
    Far-right leader Marine Le Pen said that she was opposed to
the sanctions related to the Ukraine crisis that could harm the
French economy, while presidential candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon
proposed to freeze the prices of energy and certain basic
necessities to preserve France's spending power.
