Australia's ImpediMed falls to 1-month low on discounted placement

** Shares of medical software tech co ImpediMed Ltd IPD.AX
fall as much as 12.9% to A$0.135, their lowest since April 21
** Co receives commitments to raise A$20 mln ($13.57 mln)
via institutional placement
** Issue price of A$0.13 per share represents a 16.1%
discount to stock's last closing price
** Says it will also offer a share purchase plan to eligible
shareholders to raise up to A$5 mln
** As of last close, stock up 96.2% this year
