Imperial Tobacco announces that it has received notice that on Monday 11 August 2014 its non-executive Chairman, Mark Williamson, purchased 3,955 ordinary 10p shares ("Shares") in the Company at a price of 25.012345 per Share. 
Following this transaction Mr Williamson's holding is 7,403 Shares.
