Inchcape plc announces thatRachel Empeywill be appointed as a Non-Executive Director witheffect from 26May 2016and will join the Auditand NominationsCommittees uponappointment.
Rachelis currentlyChief Financial Officer of TelefnicaDeutschland, the largest company listed on the TecDAX, and best known for their O2 brand. Rachel has been CFO since 2011, is also responsible for Strategy and Innovation and has a wide range of European telecommunications experience. Rachel has been with the global Telefnica Group since 2007 during which time she has held variousseniormanagement and finance roles in Europe.Rachel began her career with Ernst & Young and has also held positions with the Weir Group plc and Lucent Technologies. Rachel is a qualified chartered accountant.
