Inchcape plc - Result of the External Audit Tender
Inchcape plc (the "Company"), the leading independent multi-brand Automotive Distributor and Retailer, announces that following the conclusion of a formal process led by the Company's Audit Committee, and as disclosed in the 2016 Annual Report and Accounts, the Board of the Company has approved the proposed appointment of Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte") as the Company's auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2018.
A resolution to approve the appointment of Deloitte will be put to shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 24 May 2018.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), or its predecessor firms, has been the Company's auditor for over twenty years and the Board would like to thank PwC for its years of service to the Company.
