Inchcape plc (the "Company")
Transaction in Own Shares
The Company announces that on 20/05/2022 it has purchased a total of 47,000 of
its ordinary shares of £0.10 each (the "ordinary shares"), through BNP
PARIBAS EXANE as detailed below.
Date of purchase: 20/05/2022
Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased: 47,000
Lowest price paid per share: 6.9800
Highest price paid per share: 7.1100
Average price paid per share: 7.0667
The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares and does not intend to hold
any of the purchased shares in treasury.
The purchases form part of the Company's share buyback programme announced on
28 February 2022.
Following settlement of the above purchases and cancellation of the purchased
ordinary shares, the Company's total number of ordinary shares in issue shall
be 377,233,714 ordinary shares.
Since 28 February 2022, the Company has purchased 4,428,547 shares at a cost
(including dealing and associated costs) of £30,300,033.
The detailed breakdown of individual trades made by BNP PARIBAS EXANE on
behalf of the Company as part of the share buyback programme is set out below.
