Corrects to add dropped word in paragraph 1
July 21 (Reuters) - UltraTech Cement ULTC.NS, India's largest cement-maker by capacity, posted first-quarter profit above market expectations on Monday, helped by a slight uptick in prices in a seasonally weak quarter.
Consolidated net profit was at 22.26 billion rupees ($258.11 million) - including gains from its acquisition of India Cements ICMN.NS - for the quarter ended June 30, topping analysts' average estimate of 21.56 billion rupees, according to LSEG data.
