India's IndusInd Bank allows promoters to nominate up to two directors for board

Corrects paragraph 2 to say promoters have one member on the board from no representation

July 23 (Reuters) - India's IndusInd Bank INBK.NS said on Wednesday it has approved a plan to allow its promoters to nominate up to two directors on the lender's board, in a move to dial up accountability as it emerges out of a crisis stemming from accounting discrepancies.

Currently the promoters have one non-independent non-executive director on the board.
