BUZZ-Inditex falls after Q2 EBIT miss, 'evident' cost pressures Updates share price in 1st bullet, adds analyst comment bullets 2 and 4
** Shares in Zara owner Inditex ITX.MC fall 3.1%, paring earlier losses of almost 5%, as the Spanish fast-fashion retailer missed EBIT estimates, despite a strong start to autumn trading
** Inditex's Q2 EBIT comes in at €2.09 billion ($2.43 billion), 3% below consensus, as cited by Jefferies and Deutsche Bank
** JPM says the miss was driven by a 20 bps y/y rise in opex ratio, translating into a 5% miss on net income
** Although Inditex reported robust sales, cost pressures were evident, Deutsche Bank says, calling it a mixed quarter
** Including Wednesday's fall, the stock has dropped by 3% YTD
** Shares in Swedish peer H&M HMb.ST edge 0.7% lower
