    ATLANTIA  ATL.MI 
    Italy's government said on Friday it had scheduled a new
meeting with infrastructure group Atlantia's tollroad unit
Autostrade for Aug. 5 to sign a comprehensive accord to settle a

    The government and Atlantia have not yet found common ground
to sign an accord on Autostrade on Monday, a source close to the
matter said on Sunday. The source added that the parties were
considering turning back to an initial plan, envisaging state
lender CDP taking a 33% stake in Autostrade through a capital
increase, Atlantia shareholder selling a 22% stake in Autostrade
and then listing it through an IPO.
    The board of top shareholder Edzione, the Benetton family's
holding company, could meet on Thursday to discuss a possible
Autostrade spin-off in a move to help talks, daily La Repubblica
said on Sunday. Edizione declined to comment on the issue.
    
    ASTM  ATMI.MI 
    The motorway operator is available to play a role as an
industrial partner in a comprehensive accord for Autostrade,
Chief executive Umberto Tosoni said in an interview with daily
La Stampa published on Saturday. "If anyone asks us to do it,
we're available to give a hand, in the context of a systemic
initiative and for the interest of the country," he said,
without giving further details.
    
    TELECOM ITALIA  TLIT.MI , ENEL  ENEI.MI 
    The Italian government needs more time to broker a deal
between former phone monopoly Telecom Italia and
state-controlled utility Enel over plans to create a single
ultrafast broadband network, three sources told Reuters.

    A single broadband network is desirable for Italy but it
must ensure equal access to everyone and must not be controlled
by a vertically-integrated telecoms operator such as TIM, Maximo
Ibarra, the chief executive of SKY Italia, the country's top
pay-TV operator, told Sunday's La Repubblica daily.  
    An eventual single broadband network in Italy must be
controlled by TIM, ASATI, ASATI, an association of small
investors in TIM, said on Sunday in a statement.

    Applications for new incentives to buy low-emission cars,
effective form Saturday, jumped to 3,000 in just two hours on
the first day, the Economic Development Ministry said on
Saturday. Undersecretary Alessia Morani proposed to extend
incentives to light commercial vehicles in a new economic
stimulus decree to be approved this month, ANSA news agency
reported on Saturday.

    Three of the insurer's executives, including its chairman
and managing director, are under investigation for alleged undue
influence over some of the company's shareholder meetings, a

    Tax police searched the insurer's headquarters on Friday and
took documents as part of an investigation by market regulator
Consob into alleged undue influence over three shareholders'

    The Italian online broker can be a takeover target but so
far no potential buyers have shown interest in it, Chief
Executive Alessandro Foti told Statuary's MF newspaper in an
interview, adding it would be the market to decide, should a
buyer come forward. He said the company might look at countries
such as Germany and France for future expansion.

    The Italian bad loan manager priced on Friday a 265 million
euro five-year secured bond at a 5.25% yield and said it would
use the proceeds to repay a bridge facility it tapped when it

    The Italian eyewear group on Friday swung to an adjusted
core profit loss of 34 million euros for the second quarter as
sales slumped 54% from a year earlier due to the pandemic.
Safilo said sales had rebounded in July but there was too much
uncertainty on how the virus crisis would unfold to provide a

    The Italian automatic packaging machines maker said on
Sunday that on July 28 May Holding Sarl, a newly-created vehicle
indirectly controlled by funds advised by BC Partners, finalised

    Italia Bourse on ordered the delisting of GEDI's ordinary
