Australia's chicken supplier Inghams pares losses; sees no impact from bird flu outbreak

** Shares of Australia's Inghams Group  ING.AX  pare losses
after dragging as much as 16% earlier in the day; last down 8%
to A$3.5
    ** The share price plunged earlier in the day after reports
that bird flu cases had been detected in a farm in Victoria
    ** The wholesale chicken supplier said it has no commercial
broiler farms in the affected region
    ** Says the virus outbreak has no impact to its operations
or supply chain and it continues to supply the market as usual
    ** However, Inghams says it has implemented enhanced
biosecurity measures throughout its operations in Victoria
    ** Stock has fallen 3.5% this year, as of last close
