** Shares in Australia's Yancoal YAL.AX drop 11.9% to A$5.33; set for weakest session since August 20, 2024

** YAL hits lowest since September 12, 2024

** Poultry producer Inghams ING.AX slumps 6.4% to A$3.08; set for weakest trading day since August 23, 2024

** Both YAL and ING are trading ex-dividend on Thursday and are the two top losers on Australia's .AXJO benchmark index

** YAL paying 52 Australian cents apiece while ING is giving a dividend of 11 Australian cents per share

** YAL down 17.7% YTD vs ING down 1.6% YTD
