Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

Inland Homes plc (AIM: INL), the housebuilder, partnership housing developer
and regeneration specialist focused on the South and South East of England, is
pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Sawyer as an independent
non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

 

Trevor Sawyer has had an extensive career working in the housing development
industry, previously as a Managing Director of Barratt Homes Southern Counties
and a non-executive director of Orbit Homes.

 

This appointment comes following despatch to shareholders of the Company's
notice of Annual General Meeting, at which appointments to fill casual
vacancies are required to be approved by shareholders. Accordingly, as this
cannot occur in this instance, the board has resolved to re-appoint Trevor
Sawyer immediately following the Annual General Meeting and will propose a
resolution to approve his appointment at a further General Meeting which will
be called to approve the Company's accounts when they are ready.

 

Over recent days, Inland Homes has been focused on ensuring that the Board
comprises a majority of independent non-executive directors to improve Board
governance. With Trevor's appointment, this has been achieved. With the
appointment of independent directors to the Board, Stephen Wicks will not be
joining the Board but will continue in his role as a consultant to the
Group.
