** Shares in Innate Pharma  IPH.PA  drop 3.8%, having
initially fallen as much as 10%, after the group said it would
stop exploring its anti-C5aR1 antibody avdoralimab in COVID-19

    ** The company said the investigator-sponsored FORCE Phase 2
clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of avdoralimab
did not meet its primary endpoints in all three cohorts of the
trial
    ** "Disappointing news for the company that exits the race
for COVID-19 treatment and loses the boost from the well-known
craze around this topic," Portzamparc says
    ** These results do not impact the investigator-sponsored,
Phase 2 trial of avdoralimab in bullous pemphigoid, an
inflammatory disease, the group added
