Innate Pharma jumps as lung cancer study with AstraZeneca enters phase II

** Shares in Innate Pharma  IPH.PA  rise 10% after the
French pharma group said it would advance IPH5201, an anti-CD39
blocking monoclonal antibody developed in collaboration with
AstraZeneca  AZN.L , into a phase II clinical trial in lung

    ** Innate will receive a $5 mln milestone payment from
AstraZeneca and will be responsible for conducting the study
    ** The two groups will share study costs and AstraZeneca
will supply clinical trial drugs
    ** "The partnership with AstraZeneca continues to bear fruit
and once again strengthens Innate Pharma's cash position,"
Portzamparc analyst says
    ** The broker says this is good news for the group, noting
Innate is seeing its pipeline of clinically advanced products
grow
    ** Including today's rise, the stock has dropped by 31.5%
