    ISTAT releases August industrial output data (0800 GMT) and
bulletin on the state of the economy for September (0900 GMT).
    OECD releases September composite leading indicator data
(1000 GMT).
    Bank of Italy releases August data on Italian residents
deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial
companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks.

    Italy's Treasury said on Monday it would offer up to 8.75

confident the state-owned bank will be able to secure

    Italian state lender CDP and its partners have asked for
more time to clinch a deal to buy Telecom Italia's  network
assets, TIM said on Monday, further delaying a project to create

    Italian unions on Monday demanded a wage rise of 8.4% for
next year to offset rising inflation as they prepare for

    Eni said on Monday production at two gas fields south of
Berkine it operates with its associate Algerian state oil and
