Launch of range extension of specialist neonatal ventilators

Broadens the Company's reach into non-invasive ventilation

 

Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical technology
company, announces the launch of an extension to its range of neonatal
ventilators. These are new variants of the SLE6000, Inspiration Healthcare's
leading ventilator, that facilitates precise, controlled ventilation for
critically ill infants. The products have been launched in the UK, where they
will be sold directly and to selected international distributors. The roll out
internationally will continue throughout the year.

 

The three new variants have been specifically designed to meet the specialist
healthcare needs of some of the most vulnerable patients across critical care
and high dependency care and all offer non-invasive respiratory support, which
represents a new area of the market for the Company.

 

·    The SLE6000H includes powerful high frequency oscillation, which
actively controls pressure, volume and frequency to help protect the small and
fragile lungs of critically ill patients;

·    The SLE6000C includes full specification invasive and non-invasive
modes, which can be easily adapted depenedent on the needs of the baby;

·    The SLE6000N provides a suite of non-invasive, multi-mode respiratory
support for less sick babies and those transitioning from respiratory support,
enabling more important skin to skin contact between parents and baby.

 

Each variant also includes the option for Oxygenie®, the Company's automated
oxygen control algorithm which is a key element in maintaining appropriate
oxygen levels for neonates, helping to improve outcomes.
