AGM Statement and Notice of Results
 
Inspired Energy (AIM: INSE), the leading consultant for energy procurement, utility cost optimisation and legislative compliance in the UK and Ireland, will hold its Annual General Meeting today at 10.00. 
 
As announced, due to the extension of the Coronavirus restrictions, the only people permitted to physically attend the AGM will be those necessary to form a quorate meeting. As shareholders are requested not to attend the AGM, Mark Dickinson, CEO of Inspired Energy is pleased to provide the following update:
 
"In the year to date the business continues to perform in line with management's expectations, which is consistent with the assumptions set out in the full year results statement published on 31 March 2021. The Board believes that whilst the risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic should not be discounted, the Group is well placed to continue its momentum against its strategic goals as activity levels increase in line with the recovering economy.
 
"Integration of the acquisitions announced in March of Businesswise Solutions Limited and General Energy Management Limited is progressing well, both are trading in line with management expectations, and are predicted to deliver a positive contribution to the full year 2021.
 
"The underlying market dynamics continue to provide growth opportunities within Energy Optimisation Services and the Board is encouraged by the increasing traction in demand for Inspired ESG and Inspired Software."
 
Inspired Energy expects to announce its unaudited half year results to 30 June 2021 on 2 September 2021.
