SAN FRANCISCO, June 11 (Reuters) - Nvidia NVDA.O has hired veteran lobbyist Bruce Andrews to head government affairs in Washington, D.C., two sources briefed on the matter said on Thursday.
Andrews served as chipmaking rival Intel's INTC.O government affairs chief under former CEO Pat Gelsinger. During the Obama administration, Andrews was a Commerce Department official.
Nvidia declined to comment.
