MOSCOW, March 14 (Reuters) - The board of directors of
Russian power utility Inter RAO IRAO.MM has terminated the
powers of the company's head Boris Kovalchuk, electing his first
deputy Sergei Dregval as the new CEO.
Kovalchuk left the post after almost 15 years of leading
the company.
The Kommersant newspaper reported earlier, citing sources,
that Kovalchuk had been offered a promotion. Among the possible
new positions they named management of Gazprom, Rosneft, the
post of deputy prime minister or governor of St. Petersburg.
