(Adds details about supplies to Belarus, Baltic States)
MOSCOW, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Russian state energy company
Inter RAO IRAO.MM will boost its September supplies of
electricity to Finland by twofold year on year, Alexandra
Panina, member of its management board, told reporters on
Monday.
Spot wholesale power prices in the Nordic market reached
their highest level since late 2010 in early September due to
low hydrological power reserves, low wind speeds and even higher
prices in surrounding markets. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL8N2QB3J5
Inter RAO also started supplies to Belarus in August - for
the first time this year, Panina said, but kept its 2021 total
exports forecast steady at 19 billion kilowatt hours as its
supplies to the Baltic States are declining.
Inter RAO is Russia's monopoly for electricity exports.
Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are in common electricity grid
with Russia and Belarus.
Lithuania has said that it would limit Baltic power trade
with Russia and Belarus from mid-September by decreasing the
transfer capacity of its power links with Belarus. urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nL5N2OH3VA
