Intercept rises on positive data from liver disease therapy study

** Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc's  ICPT.O  shares rise 4.3%
to $11.8
    ** Company says its experimental combination therapy to
treat a type of chronic liver disease reduced disease-induced
liver damage, according to interim data from a mid-stage study  
    ** The therapy is a combination of obeticholic acid and
bezafibrate being developed for the potential treatment of
primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) - ICPT; PBC is a rare,
progressive autoimmune disease that affects bile ducts in the
liver
    ** The therapy helped achieve normal range of liver enzymes
like alkaline phosphatase shown to predict transplant-free
survival - ICPT       
    ** Including session moves, stock down ~4.6% YTD
