IATA taps World Economic Forum managing director Zahidi as new chief NEW DELHI, July 23 (Reuters) - Airline lobby group International Air Transport Association (IATA) has tapped World Economic Forum managing director Saadia Zahidi as its new director general after Willie Walsh joins Indian airline IndiGo, according to an internal memo.
Zahidi will assume the role from November 1, the memo said.
