The S&P 500 index hit a record high on Thursday, after the Federal Reserve
indicated that it could cut interest rates as soon as next month to offset
growing risks to global and domestic growth. .N
At 10:09 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.90% at
26,741.86. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.93% at 2,953.7 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 1.12% at 8,077.01.
