Recasts with 2026 turnover target in paragraph 1, trader comment, 2028 turnover target and 2025 net profit in paragraphs 2-5
Feb 13 (Reuters) - Shares in Italian high-pressure pump maker Interpump ITPG.MI fell over 24% on Friday after the group said it "prudently" expects its 2026 annual turnover to come in a range between a drop of 2% and a rise of 3%.
The target came below a 2026 4.5% turnover rise expected by the market, a Milan-based trader said.
Interpump added it aims at a 2028 turnover of 2.5 billion euros ($2.96 billion).
The group also reported a 22% fall in its fourth-quarter net profit to 37.4 million euros.
2025 net profit fell 8% to 209.7 million euros, mainly due to higher foreign exchange rate losses and accounting adjustments linked to obligations to buy remaining shares in several subsidiaries.
Shares pared some losses, ending the session 17.7% lower.
