May 15 (Reuters) - Italian high-pressure pump maker Interpump ITPG.MI posted on Thursday a 7.9% fall in its first-quarter core profit (EBITDA), in line with its expectations, adding it sees its 2025 EBITDA margin in a range of 22%-22.5%.
The group's EBITDA for the period came at 117.3 million euros ($131.28 million), down from the 127.4 million of 2024 as the group anticipated last February that the first months of 2025 were to be the "most challenging period of the year".
"The Group confirms our ability to maintain high levels of profitability, even under adverse market conditions, due to the diversification of our activities and the flexibility of our operating model", Chairman Fulvio Montipò said in a statement.
Interpump confirmed it expects its 2025 turnover to be in a range of +1% and -5%.
