A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday ruled that a patent related
to Swiss drugmaker Novartis AG's blockbuster multiple sclerosis
drug Gilenya was invalid, potentially paving the way for
introduction of a cheaper generic version of the medicine.

The Financial Times reports that the fund manager at the
centre of an ill-fated investment by the Vatican in the London
property market has filed a lawsuit against Credit Suisse over
claims the Swiss bank did not disclose that the funds were from
donations intended for the needy. It cites the bank as saying
the suit was without merit

The speciality chemicals group will reorganize into three
global business units instead of five CLN.S
VALIANT VATN.S
The bank will eliminate negative interest for private and
corporate clients from July 1, it said VATN.S
