ZURICH/BERLIN, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The Swiss blue-chip SMI
.SSMI was seen opening 0.1 percent lower at 9,117 points on
Tuesday, according to premarket indications by bank Julius Baer
JBPRE01 .
Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss
stocks:
JULIUS BAER BAER.S
The bank has turned to a U.S. law firm to help scour the
accounts of convicted banker Matthias Krull, who pleaded guilty
in August for his role in a billion-dollar scheme to launder
money embezzled from Venezuelan state-owned oil company PDVSA
PDVSA.UL , Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the

SIX SWISS EXCHANGE
In September, trading turnover rose 13.2 percent on the
prior month to 98.4 billion Swiss francs ($100.00 billion).
Since the beginning of the year, the number of trades rose 16.1
percent to 44,496,744.

* Roche ROG.S said it plans to present five-year data on
its multiple sclerosis medicine Ocrevus at an upcoming
conference, including trial results showing it helped reduce
upper limb disability progression in patients with the primary
progressive form of the disease. ROG.S
* Meier Tobler METG.S said it disagrees with a move by its
39.2 percent owner, U.K. building materials distributor Ferguson
FERG.L , to write down the value of its holding in the Swiss
company. Meier Tobler said sales would likely fall 5.5 percent
in the first nine months of 2018, but that it has begun measures

acquisition of logistics operations of Wira Logistics,

properties from Credit Suisse in exchange for 24.2 percent of
