** The early Chinese backers of AI startup Manus are planning to buy the company back from Meta META.O at the $2 billion price that the Facebook parent paid, The Information reported, citing two people with direct knowledge of the matter.

** Product testing firm Intertek ITRK.L has agreed to be taken private by Swedish private equity firm EQT EQTAB.ST for around £10.9 billion ($14.5 billion) including debt, the companies said , following months of negotiations.

** French cosmetics group L'Oreal OREP.PA will acquire a majority stake in India's Innovist, it said, as it looks to step up its share of one of the world's fastest-growing markets.
