Appointment of a new Non-Executive Director

Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries
worldwide, announces the appointment of Apurvi Sheth as a Non-Executive
Director of Intertek with effect from 1 September 2023.

Apurvi has extensive executive experience spanning over three decades across
numerous well-known international consumer brands in the food and beverage
industry. Most recently she was the Managing Director, Southeast Asia at
Diageo plc. Having  spent the majority of her career in Asia and India,
Apurvi will bring her deep consumer experience across diverse markets
including China, Japan, Australia, SEA and India to the Intertek Board.

Apurvi has also served as Marketing Director, APAC at PepsiCo International,
Marketing Director of India at Coca-Cola and held various roles at Nestle SA.
She previously served as a Non-Executive Director of Heineken Malaysia BHD.

Apurvi is currently a Non-Executive Director of SSP Group plc, a leading
operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide and serves
on their Remuneration and Nomination Committees. She is also a Strategic
Advisor to various companies in Southeast Asia and India, across a wide range
of sectors including food and beverage, retail and technology.
