The following factors could affect Italian markets on Tuesday.

ECONOMY
Cabinet meets to approve the 2027 Draft Budgetary Plan.
Italy is in talks with the EU to use part of the budget leeway stemming from the so-called "National escape clause" (Nec) to help families cope with surging energy costs, Economy Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti told lawmakers on Monday.
     Italy will adopt tax breaks aimed at promoting investments in the software industry through its 2027 budget, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Monday.
Italy's plan to run a budget deficit above 3% of GDP both in 2027 and 2028 could complicate the country's plan to exit from the European Union's infringement procedure, the Bank of Italy said on Monday.

Italy's Treasury holds a bond auction for up to €7 billion.
COMPANIES
STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
(*) The carmaker said on Tuesday that estimated consolidated shipments in the third quarter fell 1% year-on-year to 1.29 million units, with a 12% decline in North America only partially offset by a 10% rise in Enlarged Europe.
(*) As Chinese electric vehicle makers challenge Europe's auto industry with cheaper cars and increasingly sophisticated technology, European automakers like Stellantis are fighting back reviving classic models from past decades, like the Citroen 2CV.

MONTE DEI PASCHI DI SIENA BMPS.MI, INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI 
MPS's board on Monday renewed criticism of Intesa's takeover offer after it was revised upwards, but did not make revisions or improvements to its own defence plan, focused on takeover offers on Banco BPM BAMI.MI and Banca Generali BGN.MI. MPS said suitor Intesa's sweetened takeover offer left MPS investors exposed to several uncertainties, while forcing them to ditch a possible alternative plan.

Morgan Stanley on Tuesday resumed coverage with an 'overweight' rating and a target price of €29.

The Franco-Italian chipmaker said on Tuesday its supervisory board had proposed CEO Jean-Marc Chery to stay on in the role for another year.

WEBUILD WBD.MI, TREVI TFI.MI 
Webuild said in a statement on Monday it had raised its stake in Trevi to 28.79%.
