The S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose on Monday, supported by
energy stocks and strong results from Berkshire Hathaway Inc, while a 3 percent
drop in Apple Inc shares dragged down the Nasdaq.  .N 
    At 10:13 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.05 percent at
25,284.14. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.16 percent at 2,718.64 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.28 percent at 7,262.585.
