Ionis-Novartis heart drug misses main goal of late-stage trial Sept 4 (Reuters) - Ionis Pharmaceuticals IONS.O and partner Novartis' NOVN.S experimental drug to lower high levels of a type of fat and protein particle in heart patients, missed the main goal in a late-stage trial, the companies said on Friday.
