Iovance Biotherapeutics rises after FDA approves skin cancer cell therapy

** Shares of Iovance Biotherapeutics  IOVA.O  rise 14% to
$10.42 in extended trade    
    ** Co says the U.S. FDA has granted an accelerated approval
for its cell therapy Amtagvi for adult patients with advanced
melanoma
    ** Amtagvi becomes the first such treatment to be approved
for the deadliest form of skin cancer
    ** "With approval in hand, the co has a scarce wholly-owned
asset and we think would make a nice tuck-in for big pharma who
could leverage this even better," says brokerage Jefferies 
    ** Stock fell 27.2% in 2023
