IP Group plc - Announces additional fair value gain of £27.4m following portfolio company funding round

 

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group"), the developer of
intellectual property-based businesses, notes that following the completion
of a funding round by a portfolio company in its top twenty most valuable
holdings, it has recorded a net unrealised fair value gain of approximately
£27.4m* or 3p per share. The Group has committed £5m to the funding round
and, following completion of the first close, has an undiluted beneficial
holding of 29.0%. Further information will be provided in due course.

 

*Fair value gains are quoted net of the Group's long-term incentive carry
scheme ('LTICS').
