Ipsos rises after 'reassuring' H1, confirmed FY operating margin guidance
BUZZ-Ipsos rises after 'reassuring' H1, confirmed FY operating margin guidance ** Shares in Ipsos ISOS.PA rise 8.4% after the French market research firm published better-than-expected H1 results and confirmed full-year EBIT margin guidance
** H1 EBIT came in at 92.5 million euros ($105.7 million), 4% above consensus according to Berenberg, also beating the broker's estimates
** Ipsos has a strong track record of integrating acquisitions and improving profitability, so recent M&A dilution should ease, supporting management's guidance for stable margins, Berenberg says, deeming the results "reassuring"
** The broker does not expect disappointment despite FY organic sales growth guidance now at around 2% from 2–3% previously, as consensus is already at around 1.5%
** The company reiterated its EBIT margin guidance, which is positive, the analyst says
** Shares are on track for the best day since October 2020, if gains hold
