Large US telecom operator selects IQGeo to replace competitor

Carbon Neutral status

IQGeo (AIM: IQG), a developer of geospatial software that is "Building better
networks" for telecom and utility operators, is pleased to announce that
IQGeo's OSPInsight fibre network management software has been selected by a
rapidly growing large tier 1 telecom operator in the US to replace a
competitor's solution. This is a significant contract for IQGeo's SMB software
division (having a subscription value of US$500k over three years plus over
$2.0 million in professional services to be recognised this year), reflecting
the success of this team in securing larger customers.

Operating in multiple markets across southern states, the operator has grown
significantly through organic expansion and acquisition. With their existing
ESRI-based mapping software unable to meet their increasingly complex
requirements, they turned to IQGeo for an optimised fibre network management
and workflow solution. The first phase of this project employs IQGeo's fibre
industry experts to migrate network data from disparate systems into a single
shared System of Record (SoR). This initial deployment has significant future
expansion potential as the customer rolls out software to field teams and
expands applications into planning, construction, and maintenance operations.

The Company is also pleased to report that it has for the second consecutive
year received Carbon Neutral Organisation status for its 2022 carbon footprint
assessment. Following a best practice framework from the Defra/BEIS and
Greenhouse Gas Protocol reporting standards, IQGeo completed a thorough carbon
footprint analysis and offset its carbon emissions. As the company grows,
IQGeo is working to mitigate carbon emissions and was able to report a decline
in carbon emission per employee in 2022 compared to our 2019 reference year.

Richard Petti, CEO, commented that "We're pleased to see this major US fibre
network operator choose IQGeo for the quality of our software and the industry
expertise of our service team. This is a large contract for our SMB division
and another example of our success in replacing legacy competitive systems
with our innovative software. We are confident that future project phases with
this new customer will require expansion in the number of IQGeo software
licenses and in the range of applications we can provide."

"As we have communicated previously, decarbonisation is an important objective
for many of our telecom and utility customers. Not only does our software
enable essential network modernisation to meet net-zero objectives, but our
status also helps to decarbonise their supply chain. In 2023 we will continue
to work with our team to look for opportunities to reduce our overall and
individual emissions. As an organisation, we are committed to doing our part
to reduce the impact of climate change for future generations."
