ROME, May 7 (Reuters) - Italian utility Iren IREE.MI
said on Tuesday it had taken immediate steps to ensure "full
business continuity" following the arrest of its CEO Paolo
Emilio Signorini on corruption charges.
In a statement, the company said it had learned of the
arrest from media reports, and reiterated that the charges refer
to Signorini's previous role as head of the Ports of Genoa
Authority and do not appear to involve Iren.
